The challenges I most often help people navigate...

Areas of Specialisation

I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults (18+) experiencing a range of emotional and mental health challenges. While every person’s experiences are unique, the areas below reflect the concerns I most commonly support clients with.

If you're unsure whether your experiences fit within these areas, you're very welcome to reach out and we can explore how I may be able to support you.

You May Benefit From Support If You Are Experiencing

• Persistent anxiety or worry
• The emotional impact of past trauma
• Low mood or loss of motivation
• Stress related to cultural identity or immigration
• Grief or significant life transitions
• Challenges with confidence or self-worth
• Relationship difficulties

Areas of Specialisation

  • Trauma & PTSD

Trauma can leave lasting emotional and physical imprints, sometimes long after the original experience has passed.

I provide sensitive and structured support for individuals processing traumatic experiences, PTSD, or complex trauma, helping clients build grounding skills, rebuild a sense of safety, and gradually process difficult memories to reduce distress and promote long-term emotional healing.

  • Acculturation Stress & Cultural Identity

Living between cultures can bring unique pressures, expectations, and identity challenges.

I support individuals navigating acculturation stress, cultural identity concerns, and intergenerational conflict, helping clients explore identity, strengthen resilience, and find a sense of balance between cultural worlds in a culturally sensitive and affirming space.

  • Anxiety & Stress Management

Anxiety can feel like a constant sense of worry, tension, or being unable to switch off.

In therapy, we work to understand the patterns maintaining anxiety and develop practical strategies to reduce overwhelm, calm the nervous system, and restore a greater sense of balance in daily life.

  • Depression & Mood Difficulties

Depression can bring feelings of exhaustion, disconnection, and a loss of motivation or enjoyment in daily life.

I work with individuals experiencing depression and other mood-related challenges, including bipolar disorder as part of ongoing psychological support, helping clients understand mood patterns and develop strategies that foster emotional stability and resilience, and support a return to vitality and engagement in life.

  • Grief, Loss & Life Transitions

Grief can arise after the loss of a loved one, but also through significant life changes or transitions.

Therapy offers a compassionate space for individuals going through grief, bereavement, or significant life transitions, helping clients process the emotions that accompany loss, honour their experiences, and gradually adjust to life following change.

  • Self-Esteem & Confidence

Struggles with self-esteem often involve persistent self-criticism, self-doubt, or feeling 'not good enough'.

Together we explore the experiences and patterns shaping self-perception and understand the roots of self-doubt, working toward improved self-worth and a more compassionate and confident relationship with yourself.

  • Relationship Challenges & Communication

Relationships can become strained when communication patterns break down or when emotional needs go unmet.

Therapy can help you gain insight into relational patterns, strengthen communication, and build healthier and more fulfilling connections.

While the experiences above may look different for each person, many share underlying patterns that therapy can help address.

Who I Often Work With

Many of the people who seek therapy with me are thoughtful, reflective individuals who may appear to be coping well on the outside, while privately carrying significant emotional strain.

Some are navigating the lingering impact of past trauma, while others are experiencing persistent anxiety, low mood, or a sense of feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them.

I also work with individuals navigating cultural identity questions, acculturation stress, or the complexities of living between cultures.

Whatever brings you here, therapy can offer a space to explore these experiences with care, curiosity, and support.

My Approach to Supporting These Challenges

While each person's experiences are unique, my therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based psychological treatments.

I draw on approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapy (MERIT), Mindfulness-based approaches, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support clients in understanding their experiences and developing meaningful ways of responding to life's challenges.

Therapy is a collaborative process. Together, we work to explore patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical strategies that support lasting psychological wellbeing.

My aim is to provide a safe, thoughtful, and supportive space where you can explore your experiences and move toward a life that feels more balanced and aligned with your values.

Many people seek support for experiences that span more than one of these areas. If you're unsure how to describe what you're going through, you're very welcome to reach out and we can explore it together.
